About

Performing an act of kindness makes people happy.

Making a contribution to a non-profit organization is an act of kindness.

So, I've been helping people find their happiness for three decades — and counting!

As Connector-in-Chief of Catena Connects, I wear a few hats.

As a writer, I tell stories that inspire donors to put their money where their values, ideals, and hearts are — and make the world a freer, safer, and more just place.

As a creative strategist, I partner with my clients to develop the most compelling campaigns — and always with a data-driven eye.

As an interim staff member, I manage direct response fundraising programs during staff leaves and between permanent hires.

I’ve had the privilege to hold development positions at Amnesty International USA, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Community Servings, the Guttmacher Institute, and the New York Public Library. At Sanky Communications, I managed direct response fundraising programs for women’s rights, international development, and animal welfare organizations. With this experience on both sides of the desk, I understand my clients’ challenges.

I got a great start in the world of work as a server at the Middletown Pancake House in Middletown, NJ, where I learned skills that continue to serve me to this day. After all, pancakes and coffee make people happy, too!

When I’m not on my laptop, you can find me walking the beaches, dunes, and forests of my beloved Provincetown in Cape Cod, MA, with my dog Happy trotting ahead.
